Fashion Tech Internship

Internship Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our team. This internship is a unique opportunity to
gain hands-on experience across multiple departments, including Brand Partnerships, Social Media,
Styling, Operations, and the Executive Team. The intern will work closely with key stakeholders, assisting
with day-to-day tasks and gaining insight into all facets of the business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

● Support all departments with daily administrative and operational tasks.
● Assist in scheduling, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings with brands and
independent stylists.
● Conduct research to identify and outreach to potential stylists for collaboration.
● Aid in brand partnership outreach and follow ups.
● Provide support for social media content creation and engagement.
● Assist the CEO with various projects as needed.
● Gain exposure to the luxury fashion and tech industries while working in a fast-paced, startup
environment.
● Opportunity to train in the closet digitization process.

 

Qualifications:
● Passion for fashion, technology, and startups.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication and research skills.
● Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
● Proactive, self-starter with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
● Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar).
● Prior experience in fashion, tech, or business-related roles is a plus but not required.

About the role We are seeking a results-driven, detail-oriented, and analytical individual to support our team in helping us grow and scale our brand and retailer relationships. The ideal candidate is skilled at project management, passionate about the intersection of fashion and technology, has a proven track record of conducting trend/market research and providing data-driven/actionable insights, and has experience forging strong cross-functional relationships.

 

What You’ll Do:

● Assist in researching and identifying emerging fashion brands to enhance Daydream’s assortment.

● Analyze current brand partnerships to assess performance, engagement, and alignment with company objectives.

● Support the development of reports and insights on partnership effectiveness, using data-driven analysis.

● Collaborate with the Brand Partnerships team to onboard new partners and maintain strong relationships with existing ones.

● Monitor fashion trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for brand growth.

● Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing and tech, to ensure seamless brand integration.

 

What We’re Looking For:

● Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

● Strong interest in fashion, brand partnerships, and the intersection of technology and retail.

● Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to translate data into insights.

● Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.

● Ability to work independently while also collaborating in a fast-paced environment.

● Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and presentation tools; experience with AI-driven platforms is a plus.

● NYC based for 3 days in person.
